- Suits domestic, low shank machines (i.e. the distance between the pressor foot and the screw that attaches the pressor foot to the shank is approximately 3/4 inches)
- Simulates a serged stitch on a sewing machine.
- The side cutter gives garments a professional finish, but cutting the fabric as you zig zag or overedge stitch the seam.

I am very happy with this foot. The instructions are clear, making it easy to use and it creates a neat finish on my sewing projects. It's a very good alternative to an overlocker.
